Julia A. Grossman, DVM
Dr. Julia A Grossman is the Chief of Staff here at Apple Hill Animal Hospital. She has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 2000 and has been at Apple Hill since 2002. In 2015, Dr. Grossman became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture. Since then she has continued her education in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine including Food Therapy. When Dr. Grossman isn’t at work, you can find her with her family camping, gardening or cooking something delicious in her kitchen.
Lydia Rust, DVM
Dr. Rust joined the Apple Hill team in 2014. After graduating from Tulane University with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a Master’s in Neuroscience, she attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has lived in Montanna and New York, but is happy to be in her home state of Ohio. Dr. Rust enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, but is especially interested in surgery, dentistry, behavior and feline medicine.
Outside of work, Dr Rust enjoys running, hiking, traveling, reading and gardening. Her 3 cats, Becky, Essie and James, keep her very busy!
Allie Hatala, DVM
Dr. Allie Hatala joined the Apple Hill Animal Hospital team in November 2017. Dr. Hatala grew up in Brecksville and currently resides in Macedonia, Ohio with her husband, Derek and their three cats- Dizzy, Dexter, and Pippa . She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Findlay and earned her DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include feline medicine, dermatology, and animal behavior.
In her spare time, Dr. Hatala enjoys working out, playing board games, gardening, reading, and watching TV. Dr. Hatala takes great pride in serving the community that she grew up in!
